While Public Domain footage can be licensed immediately by MacDonald & Associates, protected films must be cleared with the copyright holder before being used in a new production. Just because a motion picture is in our inventory, it does not mean that MacDonald & Associates maintains the legal right to license its use. Scopitones are short musical films made for visual jukeboxes in Europe and the U.S. in 1966. Unlike Soundies and Snaders, Scopitones are in color.
